There is no lack of boldness here, but can these two kitchens co-exist in the same house, while still contributing to an overall harmony?

A shade of deep blue in kitchen one overlaps with green that imitates the tranquil reed forest vistas of Africa and Asia in kitchen two. Brought together with the Strelizia- and Leaf wall tiles. Both kitchens are done by Linad Creations.

Sam Sacks, a successful Toronto Designer, brings it together beautifully. He advises that the cooler tones within the blue and green colour palettes provide an excellent contrast to the array of metals seen in cooking gear, ranging from pots and pans to appliances. Whether it’s blue with brass, blue with copper, or, naturally, blue with stainless steel, all combinations create a harmonious pairing.

The tiles of the renovated kitchen beautifully mirror the Bamboo palette.

AND THE CONTRAST?

It is always advisable that your entire home harmonizes. Contrast also brings harmony as in this case with the Iceberg Quartz worktops and white bedroom cabinets as they counterbalance the vibrant Kitchen hues.
